Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve
This is a beautiful place to go hiking when the weather is nice. You can start at any of four different trailheads around the reserve, and there’s something for every skill level. Some trails are closed in certain seasons due to nesting birds – keep an eye on signage so you don’t disturb them!
The Santa Ana River Trail
This multi-purpose recreational trail goes all over Anaheim Hills (and beyond), making it perfect for biking or jogging with friends. There are many access points throughout town, but be careful if you’re cycling after dark – this area isn’t well lit! But during the day it’s a great way to get some exercise while getting out into nature.
Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center
This train station is ideal for traveling to Los Angeles, the San Diego Safari Park, and even Disneyland! Also, be sure to take the train if you want to experience a sporting event at Angel Stadium or Honda Center!
This is the perfect family-friendly attraction near Anaheim Hills. You can spend all day there and not run out of things to do! This park is full of history, but the best part about it is that you don’t have to travel very far from your new home in this neighborhood; just hop on a bus or take the train at the nearby station and you’ll be there in no time.
There are many things to do in Disneyland, so be sure to plan ahead!
Knott’s Berry Farm
This amusement park is located much closer to Anaheim Hills than Disneyland, and it’s known for its thrill rides. With your family or friends in tow, you can spend the whole day here!
Disney California Adventure Park
If you prefer Disney movies over cartoons, this park is perfect for you – there are no cartoon characters here! This one focuses on California history with several different themed areas like Grizzly Peak (all about bears) or Buena Vista Street (modeled after 1920s Los Angeles). You’ll learn a lot while having fun at this place near Anaheim Hills.
