Adrienne Barbeau
Adrienne Barbeau is an American singer, actress, and author who has written three books so far.
In the 1970s and early 1980s, she was a sex symbol in American movies. In the late 1980s, she started making appearances in science fiction and horror movies such as the fog (1980), Escape from New York (1982), Swamp Thring (1982), Back to School (1986), the Argo (2012), and many others.
Levardis Robert Martyn
Popularly known as LeVar Burton Jr, Robert Martyn is an American author, director, presenter, and actor who was raised in Sacramento, CA. He is known for his role as Lt. Commander George La Forge in the Star Trek: The Next Generation, and as the host of the Reading Rainbow which is a popular PBS children series.
He played an important role in the ABC television miniseries dubbed Roots which won tremendous awards in 1977. He has directed several televisions programs including Star Trek.
Channing Dungey
One of the major reasons why this woman who was born and raised in Sacramento, CA where Sacramento – California Museum is located, and is known all over the world is because she was the first African-American to become the president of a major broadcast TV network; ABC Entertainment Group in 2016. She is also a professional executive producer who has produced dozens of popular TV programs.
Merrin Melisa Dungey
She is an American television and film actress who is known for her role in various television series including Summerland, The King of Queens, and Alias. She also made an appearance as Ursula in Once upon a Time, a popular television series on ABC.
Dungey was born and raised in Sacramento, CA where Sacramento – State Capitol Museum is also located.
Mark Goodson
He was an American TV producer whose main specialty was game shows. Together with his business partner Bill Todman, they created the renowned Goodson-Todman Productions. He was born in Sacramento, CA in 1915, and died in 1992 at the age of 77.
Collin Hanks
Collin Hanks is known as a documentary filmmaker, cake fanatic, and actor. He has starred in various movies including The House of Bunny, King Kong, Great Buck Howard, and King Kong. He has also appeared in TV programs including Dexter, Fargo, The Good Guys, and Life in Pieces. He also voiced Tom in the animated series dubbed Talking Tom and Friends.
