  • The nutcracker festival

This is a holiday street fair that is held at the center Street Promenade every first Saturday of December. Every year, this celebration is filled with pop and color; thus attracting thousands of people. It kicks off with a tree lighting ceremony, which is followed by a host of fun activities including entertainment and rides for children. There is plenty of food here, and you can get your favorite dishes at affordable prices.

This event is sponsored by the City of Anaheim, Anaheim Community Foundation, the Nutcracker Holiday Committee, and the Anaheim Merchants Association.

 

 

  • The Civil War Re-enactment

Do you want to experience war and become part of it? Well, if you do, then you need to be at the ST. Catherine’s Academy every third month of the year. The once blossoming central park is transformed into a heated battle ground between the Union Infantry and the Confederate artillery, withy cannons, encampments, and combat.

Well, the war is not meant to kill, but to help people get a new definition of fun. Come experience cannon blasts, banjos, drums, fiddlers, and festive costumes. Also, you will have the opportunity to see the troop encampments and booths where military period costumes and hoop skirts were sold.

  • The Cinco de Mayo

This is the day when the battle of publa when a Mexican militia won a war against the French army is commemorated. There are many festivities held during this day among them carnival rides, food booths, soccer tournament, crowning of fiesta queen, and entertainment.

  • The Greek Festival

This is an event where people get to learn the Greek culture. Here, you will taste different Greek foods and pastries. There are a host of fun activities including Greek Dancing, Greek Music, kids games, shopping at an outdoor marketplace and much more.

This annual event takes place at 405. N. Dale St. Anaheim, CA in May.

  • Easter at Downtown Anaheim Farmers’ Market

This event takes place in April and May in Downtown Anaheim Centre Street Promenade & Lemon. During this time, you can get fresh agricultural produce, spices, kettle corn, flowers, cookies, bread, Korean BBQ, hot dogs, garlic, and much more.

There is also a craft fair where you can get hair accessories, hand-crafted baskets, shawls, make-up, and a lot more.
