Savor Dallas

Dallas International Film Festival

This event was founded by Michael Cain’s and he named it AFI Dallas. With the entry of the National Film Organization as a partner, it was renamed Dallas International Film Festival. It is today one of the biggest events, not in Texas alone, but in the entire United States of America, not forgetting it has also attained international recognition.

This film festival brings on board local, national, and international talent. It is a red carpet event that attracts a host of celebrities, who even receive awards. It takes place in The Texas Theatre, the Brand-new Look Cinemas, Klyde Warren Park, and the Cinemark West Plano.

 

Deep Ellum Arts Festival

Dallas is a fantastic art scene, and no other events shows it better than the Deep Ellum Arts Festival which takes place for three days in April.

This event takes over an entire part of the main street and hosts dozens of artists who sell their original paintings. Apart from admiring the pieces of art, you will also take delight in the music of your choice as numerous bands perform live in 4 distinct stages. Additionally. Your hunger will be well taken care of thanks to a number of restaurants and food trucks in the area.
