This includes pieces by famous artists such as Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Helen Frankenthaler, Joan Miró, Christo Yavashev-Morocco 1985 , Jack Levine, Jacob Lawrence , Mark Rothko , Henri Matisse , Henry Ossawa Tanner – Daniel Chester French designed baptismal pool at Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church (1917-18) , and Romare Bearden.
Have Fun with Kids

There are some hands-on art activities as well as different play areas where they can interact with others, which include the Art Studio and an Imagination Station. If you have little ones who love books then this might be a good option since there is also a large children’s book collection here at the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens .
If you aren’t interested in looking at paintings or sculptures but would rather explore more architectural aspects of the building itself then the Cummer Museum has plenty for you to choose from! This includes its indoor gardens (which were designed by Florida landscape architect William Lyman Phillips), galleries, and its many courtyards which are all part of the museum’s design.
See Art by Locals
One thing that makes this art gallery even better is the fact that it has works from local artists around Jacksonville! Some of these artists include Mario Sanchez , Jane McEnerny , Paul Tadlock & David Moulton . These pieces have been displayed in their own room with paintings on one wall and sculptures on another. This provides a unique way to view artwork created by people who live near you so if you are interested in seeing what your neighbors can do then check out some of these amazing pieces for yourself when visiting Cummer Museum.
